Mt Kenya

The Mt Kenya region is both agricultural and touristic as its host to some of the larger best game sanctuaries, ranches and resorts and also has a rich history.

The main ethnic groups living here are the kikuyu, Meru, Embu and the semi nomadic Maasai . The management and strong partnerships coupled with the collaborative approach towards the promotion of these wildlife conservancies has been worth the while as a greater percentage of them have flourished in maintaining high standards in conservation efforts while maintaining the natural habitat.
