DAY 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

Transfer to Amboseli National Park, famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake-bed - Lake Amboseli. These are open plains; extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland; rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country; swamps and marshes; and at the western end of the reserve, above Namanga, the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok rising to over 2,760m (8.300ft) and still for the most part zoologically unexplored. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park.

DAY 2: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru

Depart after your morning breakfast for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy your evening game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park which covers 180 sq km. The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here.

DAY 3: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

Your lodge is set high on a bush-cloaked hill with long views over the savannah and down to the winding coils of the hippo-filled Mara River, it stands centre-stage to one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife arenas, with a ringside seat for the ‘greatest wildlife show on earth’, the legendary migration of the wildebeest.

DAY 4: Masai Mara

Enjoy your full day of game viewing at Masai Mara Game Reserve. Balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast. These trips can be arranged at our office upon booking. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge.

DAY 5: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

Enjoy your early morning game viewing at Masai Mara Game Reserve. Transfer for Lake Naivasha where boat rides can be arranged at a minimal cost payable directly. Arrive in Nairobi late evening.
