The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most popular National Park covering an area of about 14,750sq km. Famed for its annual migration, the largest mass movement of wildlife in the world with about 1.5 million wildebeest,250,000 zebra amongst other game that pound their hooves in search of pasture.
The Serengeti is well known for its abundant resident wildlife, with lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, topi, eland, waterbuck, hyena, baboon, impala, the African wild dog and giraffe to name a few. The park also boasts about 500 species of birds making this a perfect destination for bird watchers.
The landscape consists of grassland plains, savanna, riverine forest woodlands and is dotted with a number of granite and gneiss outcroppings known as kopjes, which are large rocky formations that are the result of volcanic activity. The Simba Kopje being a popular tourist stop.
Day 1: Nairobi – Nakuru
Early pick up and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park stopping at the Great Rift Valley for scenic views and photography. Arrive in time for lunch, afternoon game drive dinner and overnight stay.
lake Nakuru is the rift valleys most famous lake known for its large population of flamingoes. The park is also a rhino and Rothschild giraffe sanctuary, with a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. With over 350 recorded birds the lake has been rated as the best ornithological site.

Day 2: Nakuru – Masai Mara
An early morning drive after breakfast via Narok town to the Maasai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch. The reserve holds one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still roam undisturbed. the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal annual migration of Wildebeest, Zebras from the Serengeti to Masai Mara and back. Afternoon game drives dinner and overstay.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve
full day spent in the Maasai Mara with packed lunch. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lions as well as its abundant resident wildlife and it’s one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a day’s drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the birdwatchers, the mara has over 400 species among these is the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird. Dinner and overstay.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Serengeti
Transfer after your morning breakfast for Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 sq km of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Enjoy your en-route game drive at Serengeti National Park.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy your full day of game viewing at Serengeti National Park with your private safari land cruiser till late in the evening. Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
A full day of game viewing at Serengeti National Park with your private safari land cruiser. As enduring as the game-viewing is the liberating sense of space that characterises the Serengeti Plains, stretching across sunburnt savannah to a shimmering golden horizon at the end of the earth. Yet, after the rains, this golden expanse of grass is transformed into an endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers. And there are also wooded hills and towering termite mounds, rivers lined with fig trees and acacia woodland stained orange by dust.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro
Breakfast at the camp then depart with picnic lunch to Ngorongoro conservation area. In the afternoon descent down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. With walls, 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that is 260 sq km, the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, inhabited by the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. Dinner and overstay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro - Tarangire
After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park, named after the river that flows through the park and is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks. With the swamps green all year round, this provides a habitat suitable for a variety of birds having recorded over 500 here, and making Tarangire a place where the largest number of birds are found in one habitat. Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to camp late evening.

Day 9: Tarangire - Amboseli
Depart after breakfast to Arusha where you will make a stopover for your hot lunch to Amboseli. Then drive via Namanga border point where after border formalities you proceed to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is famous for its large population of elephants, but other game including lions, cheetah, buffalos, zebra, hyena wildebeest and many more. The park has five habitats namely the dry lake-bed, yellow-barked acacia woodland, rocky lava, thorn-bush country, swamps and marshes. Enroute game viewing to the camp
