Amboseli National Park covers an area of about 392sq km of plains dominated by the breathtaking gigantic views of the free-standing snowcapped 5,985m Mount Kilimanjaro. The Amboseli conservation area includes the Chyulu Hills National Parks, as well as large Maasai community wildlife sanctuaries.
Wildlife viewing is great all year round especially around the swamps fed with underground streams from the mountain, making Amboseli one of the most visited parks in the country. This is also home to the nomadic, legendary, prowess in battle Maasai people who have learned to live in complete harmony in their environment surrounded by wildlife.
In and outside the park are some of the best state of the art camps and lodges suited for all budgets.
